Gearless Bikes, popularly known as bikes with automatic transmission and referred to as motorcycle without gear or bikes without gear, are making their impact on the market, both in India and in the world. People in India have an affinity towards bikes; they love to see the gears turn up, the engine roaring, silencers booming, etc. But when it comes to a gearless bike, people tend to behave unfavorably. Because, in a bike with gears, control is of absolute importance; in these bikes, there’s a balance of symmetry, consisting of clutch, brakes, gears, and accelerators – essentially which makes bike ride worth having.

However, this sense of balance gets lost in a motorcycle without gear due to comparatively fewer complications. It ultimately assures the rider a smooth ride, which is inherently one of the essential objectives of gearless motorcycle manufacturers. A gearless motorcycle also provides a riding experience unlike any other. Therefore, let’s dive into the world of bikes with automatic transmissions without further ado.

Let’s take a moment to consider why many people in India & throughout the world prefer motorcycle without gear. The most obvious point being the shifts in gears. What to some be as easy as pie might also be evaluated by others, tough as nails, and shifting from one gear to the next or previous falls under this category.

With the advent of automatic transmission in bikes, even beginners or novice riders can enjoy a smooth and safe ride since it needs no prior training or experience. However, in terms of popularity, motorcycles with gear are far above then gearless motorcycle. Mainly due to the four most important reasons – fuel efficiency, price, reliability, and acceleration. But now, let’s not get off track. Gear up, and behold the best options one has if they want to buy a motorcycle without gear in India.

  1. Dear team, i would like to know if there is any “Gearless Motorcycles” in India currently or atleast will any release by 2022-2023-2024? Am a big fan of Gearless Motorcycles (Nah, am not talking about Scooters like Vespa, Aprilla, Fascino, X-Ray, NTorq). Unfortunately, after TVS Jive (2008-2011), there is none in India. Jive was a failure just bexause these stupid peoples weren’t ready to change to the AMT life.

Now, i wish to buy one AMT Bike (I Repeat, not scooter/Scooty). Being an Indian Coimbatore, Tamilnadu), i couldn’t find anything of that sort. Kindly guide me with details.

  2. Sir please send me the rate of this bike which is gearless bike
